With a little patience and determination, everyone can make delectable cream puffs at home!
Chef CY Phang will show you how to make fail-proof cream puffs using traditional French choux pastry methods, with simple tools and easily available ingredients. Once you learn how to master the basic choux pastry, you can proceed to make more advanced pastries with this versatile dough, from éclairs to profiteroles to Paris-Brest and the list goes on.
We will also show you how to make the craquelin - the sweet crispy topping on the cream puffs, and pastry cream (crème pâtissière) filling.
This is a class that combines both demo and hands-on for a more interactive learning experience. Chef CY Phang is known for her generous sharing on knowledge and tips, and rounds and rounds of recipe testings to make sure they work!
